Mi Number app for iPhone and iPad

Mi Number is a contact sharing app to facilitate easy exchange by means of 2D barcode technology. To make it work, both of the information provider and receiver should have this app installed.

With this app, you can also achieve usual address book management tasks like contact deletion or modification. The "mi-number" button placed at the toolbar centre offers instant sharing of a designated contact entry. You should create an address book entry for yourself with sharable information included, such as phone numbers, company name, title or even Facebook account.

Due to the physical capacity of 2D barcode based data exchange, contact images are excluded. Contact entries with excessive amount of details result in meticulous barcodes, that are hard to be read by the phone cameras. In this case, you will need to refer to other approaches, such as import/export method, to work around the limitation.

To have this app function properly, authorization to permit access to the address book data is essential. Please make sure to do so by answering yes to the popup dialog or by switching on the entry in the Settings > Privacy > Contacts section. This app does not steal contact data or use any network traffic in the background.
